A leading Belarusian economic geographer and demographer in the Republic of Belarus, Doctor of Geography, Professor. Antipova is a Professor at the Department of Economic and Social Geography, Belarusian State University. She defended her Ph.D. (1996) and doctoral (2008) dissertations in the specialty 25.00.24 - economic, social and political geography; in 2010 she was awarded the academic title of Professor. Antipova is an expert of the United Nations Population Fund in the Republic of Belarus (UNFPA) on the issues of population geography, demography, sustainable development, and a full member of the International Union for the Scientific Study of Population (IUSSP).
